You should never store secrets in you Git repositories. So, what do you do?
One option is to use git-crypt. It will automatically decrypt files in your local repository, and encrypt them in the remote repository (GitHub etc.).
Let’s see how it works. I assume you are on a Linux machine, and know about Git.

Lately I have been working on a python wrapper for the API of the project and schedule management service at www.float.com.
The wrapper supports most of the Float API at this point. The source code as well as a longer description is available on github.
There is a package available on PyPI which allows for easy install with the Python package manager pip using the following command: pip install float-api
I’m moving this site from Wordpress to Hugo. Hugo is a tool for building static sites (SSGs). I have the site in git, and the site is served by Netlify. Whenever I push my changes in git to GitLab, Netlify rebuilds the website, and publishes it. This is MUCH easier than maintaining a Wordpress/MySQL installation. This way of building web sites is known as the JAMStack, as opposed to the classic LAMP stack consisting of Linux, Apache, MySQL & PHP.
Jeg har lavet et apparat der kan kobles til en telefon med drejeskive og simulere at man ringer op til et telefon-nummer. Apparatet er udviklet til Enigma, det tidligere post- og telegraf-museum.
De numre man kan ringe til, bestemmes ved at man lægger MP3-filer på et microSD card. Apparatet er (i sin nuværende version) baseret på en Arduino Pro Mini og MP3-spiller-modulet DFPlayer Mini.

Jeg har altid troet, at teksten “Farmor ska’ ha’ bajer” sunget på melodien fra hittet Vamos a la playa fra 1982, var noget nogle børn selv havde fundet på i min ungdom. Nu har jeg opdaget at det er en single med Lille Palle Andersen. Det anede jeg ikke! Teksten har jeg ikke kunnet finde noget andet sted på nettet. Derfor har jeg skrevet den ind her.
